When someone wants to change their anger they first need to recognize what they do, and what they don’t like in someone else. Here are some examples:

  • Dirty look
  • Moving toward someone in a threatening way
  • Getting loud or getting quiet
  • Fidgety
  • Have to pace
  • Have to get away
  • Tight jaw
  • Clenched fist
  • Get hot
  • Get cold
  • Pressure in neck
  • Pressure in chest
  • Pressure all over
  • Unwanted thoughts
  • Upset stomach
  • Shakes
  • Slamming doors
  • Punch things
  • Mouth can’t go as fast as the mind
  • Silent treatment
  • Whining
  • Hold anger in then blowup
  • Intimidate
  • Intellectualize the issue to win
  • Complain often
  • Short tempered
  • Throw things
  • I Know Best attitude
  • Lie to be right
  • Minimize the issue
  • Blame others
  • Grab
